My Landlady Lip-sync’s Her Favorite Song
This is my 89-year-old landlady, Carol Lyn Black lip-syncing her favorite song “Happy Days Are Here Again”.
I did this piece as part of “Muse”, an online class offered on the educational website Skillshare taught by Katrina Tan-Conte.
I used this class as an excuse to experiment with a motion portrait. It was a blast, the class was great and Carol is a delight. Let’s get her on a TV show folks!

Why don’t I ever fucking sleep? 4 hours of sleep a day can’t possibly be healthy, especially relying on caffeine and nicotine all day.
